A relaxed meeting with 2 mentors
Meet up every other week for a year.
Meet in a public place you feel comfortable the cost of a drink is covered per session.
Mentors are friendly trained volunteers (not professionals or support workers).
You can talk about goals and things you would like to achieve.
'The mentors helped me with practical things like finding clothes for my baby. I liked meeting up at the cafe and talking with them they didn't push or pressure me just very good at listening. The more I met them the more confident I become and they helped me to believe in myself because I believe in them. My biggest achievement is to become more confident in who I am now, I have changed a lot and I am far less afraid. It is still difficult meeting new people but I am more confident now to do this'.
